Welcome to Getting A Clue.

I am a novice writer and I am working on my first book. Reading has always been a huge part of my life. Having a huge library, like Belle does in Beauty and the Beast, was always my dream. My husband may say it has come to fruition since we have more books than book shelves…and we have many bookshelves. Books make me feel comfortable and at home.

Being a bibliophile was obvious for me, but actually writing a book was not. Getting a clue is just that, it is about me searching for that thing that makes me want to get up in the morning. I happen to also LOVE mysteries. Murder mysteries, in particular, fascinate me. If there is a group for murder mystery addicts, I would definitely be a charter member. Therefore, when I realized writing was an option for me, it was only natural to contemplate writing a Murder Mystery novel. My goal is to not only write my mystery but to also find out more about who I am and my journey.

Besides being amusing, perhaps my adventure may give someone insight into their personal adventure. If you are a writer, we can learn through trial and error the best ways to become better writers. If you are a reader, I plan to share many wonderful book recommendations…and maybe get a few from you too! If you are a mystery lover, my goal is to entertain you as well as to share many great places to watch, listen or read about fun and/or devious things that people can do. If you seek to find your life’s purpose then welcome, I would love to share this journey we are on together. Finally, if you are all of the above- then kindred spirits- let us plumb the depths of humanity while discovering and illuminating the epic versions of ourselves. For you are my fellow searcher of clues to the mysteries of the human psyche and the answers to the question of why are we here. You are Clue Hunters!!!
